An Alignment Public Workshop was held on January 26, 2010 to provide the public with an opportunity to review and comment on the preliminary alignments developed for the project. Notification of the workshop was sent to local officials, agencies, stakeholders, special interest groups and property owners within the study area.

Survey forms were provided at the Alignment Public Workshop to receive agency and public input on the preliminary alignments. If you were unable to attend the workshop, please click here to download a survey form. Please complete this survey form to tell us which alignment you like or don’t like and why. Also, please let us know if you know of other features that we should try to avoid. Your survey forms can be mailed to the address on the back of the form. Comments may also be submitted on the project Web site by clicking here. Please mail all comments by February 8, 2010 so they can be considered in the identification of alignments for further analysis.
Based on the public input received and detailed analyses of the alignments, the alignments recommended for further consideration will form the basis for the range of alternatives to be further refined, evaluated and documented in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Opportunity for agency and public input into the identification of the range of alternatives to be studied in the Draft EIS will be provided at the Alternatives Public Workshop later this year.
